Project Home – Gloria Casarez Residence
Project HOME is a Philadelphia non-profit organization empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through affordable housing, employment, health care, and education. Join us.
Named in honor of the late Gloria Casarez—Philadelphia’s first Director of LGBT Affairs and a tireless advocate for equality and social justice—the Gloria Casarez Residence provides permanent supportive housing for LGBTQ+ young adults who have experienced homelessness.
Through the work of Project HOME, residents receive not only safe and stable housing, but access to resources, opportunities, and a community that believes everyone deserves dignity, hope, and the chance to thrive.
Gloria devoted her life to making Philadelphia a more welcoming and inclusive city for all. Her legacy lives on through this residence and the lives it transforms every day.
Human Rights Campaign
For more than four decades, HRC has been at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality, working to create a world where every person can live openly, safely, and authentically. Through advocacy, education, political action, and community engagement, HRC works to ensure that freedom, dignity, and equal rights are realities for all.

Leather Archives and Museum
For more than three decades, the Leather Archives & Museum has worked to preserve, protect, and share the rich history of leather, kink, BDSM, fetish, and LGBTQ+ communities. Through its archives, museum collections, exhibits, and educational programs, LA&M ensures that our stories, struggles, achievements, and traditions are never forgotten.
Our history matters. The people who came before us built the communities we enjoy today, often in the face of discrimination, stigma, and adversity. By supporting LA&M, we help preserve those stories while inspiring future generations to learn from and celebrate our shared heritage.
